How to Arrive
You can travel to Santa Susanna by several means of transport. It is ideally located on the Mediterranean coastline, midway between Barcelona and Girona ( 50 Km from both cities).
By road
By car the best way is by the N-II road, or on the C-32 motorway. The new C-60 motorway between Mataró and Granollers has opened up a new route and helped communications to the interior of Catalonia. It is now possible to arrive in Santa Susanna from Sabadell, Terrassa, Vic and other major catalan towns in less than 60 minutes. It is also possible to arrive in Santa Susanna by road using public transport.
By plane
The excellent location of Santa Susanna, brings visitors from all over Europe by plane, arriving both at Barcelona and Girona airports. As you can see, Santa Susanna is easily reached by road/rail/air and this is part of the reason the town remains at the forefront of tourist destinations in Catalonia.
By train
The railway is the most important public transport route to Santa Susanna and the most used.The line joins the town to Barcelona, Girona, the rest of the Costa Brava and Barcelona airport. Trains run every hour and are more frequent in the summer months.
