To complement your stay during the tournament, we present a carefully selected choice of the best activities, excursions, and cultural visits available around Malgrat de Mar and its surrounding areas:
An excursion to the Catalan capital is highly recommended. From Malgrat de Mar Train Station, modern trains will take you on a pleasant, scenic coastal ride straight to the city center in just about 1 hour and 15 minutes at a very affordable price. By coach, the trip takes just over an hour via the Maresme C-32 highway.
You cannot miss the famous 1.2 km promenade of Las Ramblas, the charm of the Gothic Quarter, the Picasso Museum, or the masterpieces of the brilliant architect Antoni Gaudí, such as the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. Likewise, sports enthusiasts must not miss a visit to the Montjuïc Olympic facilities (host of the 1992 Olympic Games) and the legendary Spotify Camp Nou stadium of FC Barcelona along with its spectacular interactive museum.
The strategic location of Malgrat de Mar allows for wonderful day trips across the Catalan region:
